Grant Gibbs (basketball)
Grant Randall Gibbs (born July 22, 1989) is an American basketball coach and former player. Standing at 196 cm (6 ft 5 in), Gibbs used to play as shooting guard or small forward. Professional career Landstede Zwolle (2014–2016) In the 2015–16 season, while playing for Landstede Zwolle, Gibbs was named the DBL Most Improved Player and was awarded a spot in the All-DBL Team. Oettinger Rockets (2016–2017) In August 2016, Gibbs signed with Oettinger Rockets of the German second division ProA. Coaching career Oklahoma City Blue (2017–2022) In October 2017, Gibbs signed as an assistant coach with the Oklahoma City Blue of the NBA G League. On August 2, 2019, he was promoted to the position of head coach for the Blue after former coach Mark Daigneault accepted an assistant coach position on the Oklahoma City Thunder, the NBA affiliate of the Blue. Rockets (basketball Club)
Rockets is a German professional basketball team. It is originally based in Gotha, Germany but plays its home games in Erfurt. The Rockets are the first team of the BiG Gotha basketball club. In 2017, Rockets promoted to the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL), the German first tier. Following its debut season in the BBL, the professional team of Rockets was dissolved. Since 2018-19 season the team plays in the 2. Regional League under the name BiG Rockets Gotha. History The Oettinger Rockets were found as the first team of the club Gotha e.V. which was founded on 2 July 1998. Mark Daigneault
Mark Daigneault (pronounced ''DAYG-nolt''; born February 23, 1985) is an American professional basketball coach and head coach for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Coaching career Daigneault began his coaching career as a student manager at UConn from 2003 to 2007 under Jim Calhoun. After earning his bachelor's degree in education, Daigneault initially intended to go for a master's degree, but was urged by Calhoun and associate head coach George Blaney to pursue an assistant coaching role at Holy Cross and offered strong recommendations. Daigneault was an assistant coach of the Florida Gators from 2010 to 2014 and was head coach of the NBA G League's Oklahoma City Blue, which is affiliated with the Oklahoma City Thunder of the NBA, from 2014 to 2019.
