Grandview Peak
Grandview Peak is a mountain summit located in Salt Lake County, Utah, United States. Description Grandview Peak is located northeast of Salt Lake City on land managed by Wasatch National Forest. It is the highest point within the boundaries of Salt Lake City. The peak is part of the Wasatch Range which is a subrange of the Rocky Mountains. Precipitation runoff from the mountain's north slope drains to Mill Creek, whereas the south slope drains to City Creek. Topographic relief is significant as the summit rises nearly above City Creek in one mile (1.6 km) and above Mill Creek in 0.7 mile (1.1 km). Bountiful, Utah
Bountiful is Davis city. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 42,552, a three percent increase over the 2000 figure of 41,301. North Salt Lake is a city in Davis County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Ogden– Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. City Creek is a small but historically important mountain stream that flows from City Creek Canyon and across part of Salt Lake City, Utah, and into the Jordan River which empties into the Great Salt Lake. Wasatch National Forest
Wasatch National Forest was established as the Wasatch Forest Reserve by the U.S. Forest Service in Utah on August 16, 1906 with to the east of Salt Lake City and Provo. A summit is a point on a surface that is higher in elevation than all points immediately adjacent to it. The topography, topographic terms acme, apex, peak (mountain peak), and zenith are synonymous.
