The 2008–09 Tercera División was the fourth tier of football in Spain. Play started on 30 August 2008 and ended on 28 June 2009 with the promotion play-off finals. Roberto Lago Soto (; born 30 August 1985) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a left-back. He spent the better part of his career with Celta and Getafe, totalling 159 games in the Segunda División (six goals) and 86 in La Liga. In 2016, he signed with Cypriot club APOEL. José Ignacio Fernández Palacios (born 3 February 1967), known as Nacho, is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a left-back. His entire professional career was associated to Celta and Compostela. He appeared in 198 La Liga matches over eight seasons, scoring four goals. Francisco Javier Falagán Hernández (born 4 October 1969) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper, and is the goalkeeping coach of Extremadura UD. Football career Born in Valladolid, Castile and León, Falagán played in the lower leagues until 1993, when he represented Hércules CF in Segunda División loaned by neighbouring Valencia CF. Whilst with the former club, he had already won promotion to that tier in 1993. In 1995–96, Falagán played all 42 matches in La Liga with SD Compostela, his solid performances earning him a place in Javier Clemente's shortlist for UEFA Euro 1996 as one of the five goalkeepers.
