Graham Webb (broadcaster)
Graham "Spider" Webb (born 19 April 1936) is a prominent Australian radio and TV broadcaster and producer. Biography Graham Webb began his radio career a2TM Tamworthin 1954. In 1955, he moved to Brisbane, to become the "junior" announcer for 4BH, before moving on to 4GY Gympie, to gain more experience. After a stint in National Service, Graham returned to Sydney in 1957, where he became the announcer for the Sunday religious programs on 2CH. Subsequently, Graham became Reg Grundy's offsider on the radio version of " Wheel Of Fortune". In late 1957, Graham joined radio 2UE, where he hosted the first Top 40 radio show on Sydney radio in the late 1950s, working with Gary O'Callaghan, John Laws, Tony Withers and Bob Rogers. This was followed by a brief move to 4KQ in Brisbane in 1960, then back to Sydney to host 2GB breakfast in 1961. Reg Grundy
Reginald Roy Grundy (4 August 1923 – 6 May 2016) was an Australian entrepreneur and media mogul, best known for his numerous television productions. He was the producer of various Australian game shows, such as '' Blankety Blanks'' (based on a Mark Goodson–Bill Todman production, ''Match Game'') and ''Wheel of Fortune'' (based on the US Merv Griffin production of the same name) before later diversifying into soap operas and serials including ''Prisoner'', ''The Young Doctors'', '' Sons and Daughters'' and ''Neighbours'', the last of which was inducted into the Logie Hall of Fame in 2005. Why Me (Kris Kristofferson Song)
"Why Me" is an American country and gospel song written and recorded by American country music singer and songwriter Kris Kristofferson. Song history Kristofferson had become the toast of Nashville in the early 1970s, with the massive success of compositions including " For the Good Times", "Me and Bobby McGee", " Sunday Morning Coming Down", and "Help Me Make It Through the Night", among many others. He had a hit of his own as well, with " Lovin' Her Was Easier (Than Anything I'll Ever Do Again)". Sunlight is a portion of the electromagnetic radiation given off by the Sun, in particular infrared, visible, and ultraviolet light. On Earth, sunlight is scattered and filtered through Earth's atmosphere, and is obvious as daylight when the Sun is above the horizon. Sunshine Coast, Queensland
The Sunshine Coast is a peri-urban region in South East Queensland, Australia. It is the district defined in 1967 as "the area contained in the Shires of Landsborough, Maroochy and Noosa, but excluding Bribie Island". Located north of the centre of Brisbane in South East Queensland, on the Coral Sea coastline, its urban area spans approximately of coastline and hinterland from Pelican Waters to Tewantin. The area was first settled by Papuasians migrating from northern Australia. Europeans settled in the area in the 19th century, with development progressing slowly until tourism became an important industry. AC/DC (stylised as ACϟDC) are an Australian Rock music, rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by Scottish-born brothers Malcolm Young, Malcolm and Angus Young. Hush (band)
Hush were an Australian glam rock pop band, which formed in 1971 and disbanded in 1977. For most of that time their line-up was lead singer Keith Lamb with Les Gock on lead guitar, Rick Lum on bass guitar and Chris 'Smiley' Pailthorpe on drums. They had top 10 hits on the Kent Music Report with their cover versions of "Bony Moronie" and "Glad All Over" (both 1975). The group frequently appeared on the TV pop music show, ''Countdown'', and toured nationally. Hines made her debut, at the age of 16, in the Australian production of the stage musical ''Hair'' and followed with the role of Mary Magdalene in ''Jesus Christ Superstar''.
