Graham Scott (footballer)
Graham Scott (born 16 October 1946) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda and Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL) during the early 1970s. He also played for South Fremantle in the West Australian National Football League (WANFL). Scott was a forward, playing mostly as a half forward flanker. He was used at full-forward in South Fremantle's premiership team of 1970 and kicked four goals in the Grand Final. His tally of 59 goals in the club's premiership year was enough to top their goal-kicking, as was his 97-goal effort in 1971. South Fremantle Football Club is an Australian rules football club based in Fremantle, Western Australia. The club plays in the Western Australian Football League (WAFL) and the WAFL Women's (WAFLW), commonly going by the nickname the ''Bulldogs''. Australian football, also called Australian rules football or Aussie rules, or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. Points are scored by kicking the oval ball between the central goal posts (worth six points), or between a central and outer post (worth one point, otherwise known as a "behind"). The West Australian Football League (WAFL) is an Australian rules football league based in Perth, Western Australia. The league currently consists of ten teams, which play each other in a 20-round season usually lasting from March to September, with the top five teams playing off in a finals series, culminating in a Grand Final. The 1969 Adelaide Carnival was the 17th edition of the Australian National Football Carnival, an Australian rules football interstate competition. Four teams competed in the carnival, South Australia, the Victorian Football League, Tasmania and Western Australia. Victoria finished on top of the table after winning all of their games. Western Bulldogs
The Western Bulldogs are a professional Australian rules football team that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's premier competition.
