Graham Clark is a fictional character from the British soap opera ''Emmerdale'', played by Kevin Pallister. He made his first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 19 August 1998. Graham Ronald Clark (10 November 1941 – 6 July 2023) was an English operatic tenor, known for roles such as David in Wagner's ''Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg'', and especially the character roles Loge and Mime in ''Der Ring des Nibelungen''. He was a principal with the English National Opera from 1978 to 1985, and performed at leading European and North American opera houses after he was recognised at the Bayreuth Festival in 1981, returning for 15 seasons. Clark appeared at the Metropolitan Opera in 112 performances over 15 seasons, in roles such as Stewa in Janácek's ''Jenůfa'', Herod in ''Salome'' by Richard Strauss, the Captain in Alban Berg's ''Wozzeck'' and Captain Vere in Britten's ''Billy Budd''. Graham Peter Clarke (11 August 1935 – 27 April 2010) was an English professional footballer who played as a full-back for Southampton in the 1950s. Football career Clarke was born in Nottingham, where he made a name for himself playing for Nottingham District as a wing-half. At 16, he was capped for England in the 1951 youth internationals going on to captain the side twice in the following season. Despite his father's wishes that he should continue his apprenticeship as a motor mechanic, Clarke signed for Southampton as a part-time professional in 1953. Graham Clarke (born 27 March 1974 in Ballygalget, County Down) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Ballygalget and was a member of the Down senior inter-county team from 1993 to 2012. Playing career Club Clarke plays his hurling with his local club in Ballygalget, and first came to prominence on the club’s minor team in the late 1980s. He was goalkeeper on the team that captured four consecutive county championship titles in that grade. Clarke later joined the club’s senior team and became the first-choice goalkeeper at the age of sixteen. Sir John Grahame Douglas Clark (28 July 1907 – 12 September 1995), who often published as J. G. D. Clark, was a British archaeologist who specialised in the study of Mesolithic Europe and palaeoeconomics. He spent most of his career working at the University of Cambridge, where he was appointed Disney Professor of Archaeology from 1952 to 1974 and Master of Peterhouse from 1973 to 1980. Born in Kent to an upper-middle-class family, Clark developed an early interest in archaeology through his collection of prehistoric flint tools. After an education at Marlborough College, he proceeded to Peterhouse in the University of Cambridge, there attaining both his undergraduate and then doctoral degree. For the latter, he produced a thesis and published monograph focusing on Mesolithic Britain.
