Graham Bailey
Graham Bailey (born 22 March 1920) is an English former professional footballer who played league games for Huddersfield Town and for Sheffield United as a defender. He was born in Old Park, Shropshire. When he signed for the 1949/1950 season at Sheffield United in May 1949 a fee of £12 per week was agreed for the first part of the season. He was invited back to Sheffield United in 1989 to celebrate the club's centenary at a reunion of past and present players at Bramall Lane. He celebrated his 100th birthday in March 2020 and in February 2021 was tracked down by the Huddersfield Town Supporters Association and confirmed to be the club's oldest living former player. He was visited by the Club Ambassador Andy Booth on his 101st birthday and presented with a Town shirt with his name on the back. Shropshire
Shropshire (; alternatively Salop; abbreviated in print only as Shrops; demonym Salopian ) is a landlocked historic county in the West Midlands region of England. Mossley A
Mossley (/ˈmɒzli/) is a town and civil parish in Tameside, Greater Manchester, England, in the upper Tame Valley and the foothills of the Pennines, southeast of Oldham and east of Manchester. The historic counties of Lancashire, Cheshire and the West Riding of Yorkshire meet in Mossley and local government wards and church parishes correspond to their boundaries. Mossley had a population of 10,921 at the 2011 Census. It is the only parished area of Tameside, having had a parish council since 1999. In the sport of association football, a defender is an outfield position whose primary role is to stop attacks during the game and prevent the opposition from scoring. Centre-backs are usually positioned in pairs, with one full-back on either side to their left and right, but can be played in threes with or without full-backs. East Yorkshire
The East Riding of Yorkshire, or simply East Riding or East Yorkshire, is a ceremonial county and unitary authority area in the Yorkshire and the Humber region of England.
