Graeme High School
Graeme High School is a non-denominational State school, public secondary school located in Falkirk, Scotland. The school is operated by Falkirk Council on behalf of the Education Department of the Scottish Government. The catchment area, from which the school's pupil population is drawn, comprises Hallglen, Laurieston, Falkirk, Laurieston, St. Margaret's, Victoria and Westquarter primary schools, located in the east of Falkirk itself and in the nearby Falkirk Braes, Lower Braes villages. Admissions The school roll contains approximately 1200 pupils, and there are almost 90 teachers on staff. History The school is named after John de Graham, Sir John de Graham, a leader in the army of William Wallace. Private Finance Initiative
The private finance initiative (PFI) was a United Kingdom government procurement policy aimed at creating "public–private partnerships" (PPPs) where private firms are contracted to complete and manage public projects. Ruth Connell (born 20 April 1979) is a Scottish theatre, television and film actress, and producer. She is also a former professional dancer and choreographer. Craig Sibbald
Craig Alexander Sibbald (born 18 May 1995) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Dundee United. He has previously played for Falkirk and Livingston, and represented Scotland at under-16 and under-17 level. Club career Falkirk Sibbald made his first team debut for Falkirk aged 16, in a 2–1 win against Brechin City in the 2011–12 Scottish Challenge Cup. Thomas "Tam" Scobbie (born 31 March 1988 in Falkirk) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays for Berwick Rangers. He has previously played for Falkirk, St Johnstone. Dundee United. Sir James Redmond (8 November 1918 – 17 October 1999) was a British engineer. One of the pioneers of modern public service broadcasting in the United Kingdom, he spent the greater part of his career with the Engineering Department of the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) rising all the way through the ranks from vision mixer to Director of Engineering and was involved in overseeing most of the technical developments which made modern television broadcasting possible. William Johnston Buchanan OBE FBCS CEng PFHEA (born 6 March 1961) is a Scottish computer scientist. Buchanan was born in Falkirk, Scotland in 1961. Malcolm Middleton
Malcolm Bruce Middleton (born 31 December 1973) is a Scottish musician and member of indie band Arab Strap. He has also released seven solo studio albums and three albums performing under the pseudonym Human Don't Be Angry. Early life Middleton was born in Dumfries but raised in Falkirk, Scotland. He attended Graeme High School. He played bass, guitar and sometimes sang in several bands in the 1990s, including Purple Bass Plectrum, Rabid Lettuce, Pigtube and The Laughing Stock. Graham Edward Gardner (born 1 June 1966) is an English-born Scottish former first-class cricketer. Gardner was born in June 1966 at Brighton. Moving to Scotland as a child, he was educated at Graeme High School in Falkirk and Larbert High School at Larbert.
