Graeme Hedley
Graeme Hedley (born 1 March 1957) is an English former footballer who made 107 appearances in the Football League playing as a midfielder for Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday, Darlington, York City and Hartlepool United. He also played in Hong Kong for Ryoden and in English non-league football for Horden Colliery Welfare and Whitby Town. After retiring as a player, he worked in insurance and later assisted wife Pauline with running the post office at Wolviston, County Durham. Easington, County Durham
Easington, also known as Easington Village, is a village and civil parish in eastern County Durham, England. It is located at the junction of the A182 and B1283, leading north-west to Hetton-le-Hole and south east to Horden. It is near the A19, which travels north to Seaham and Sunderland as well as south to Peterlee and Stockton-on-Tees. The population of Easington Village was 2,164 in 2001, increasing slightly to 2,171 at the 2011 Census. Darlington is a market town in the Borough of Darlington, County Durham, England. The River Skerne flows through the town; it is a tributary of the River Tees. The Tees itself flows south of the town. In the 19th century, Darlington underwent substantial industrial development, spurred by the establishment there of the world's first permanent steam-locomotive-powered passenger railway: the Stockton and Darlington Railway. The Northern League is a men's football league in north east England. Having been founded in 1889, it is the second-oldest football league in the world still in existence after the English Football League. It contains two divisions; Division One and Division Two. Wolviston is a village and civil parish within the borough of Stockton-on-Tees and the ceremonial county of County Durham, England. The population of the civil parish as of the 2011 census was 877. It is situated in the north of Billingham. The village has several businesses, including a florist, saddlery, international consultancy firm, riding school and post office run by former Middlesbrough footballer Graeme Hedley and his wife. Wolviston benefits from two pubs, the Wellington Inn and the Ship. It has a traditional village green and a duck pond.
