Gradski Stadion (Berane)
Berane City Stadium (Montenegrin language, Montenegrin: Gradski stadion Berane/Градски стадион Беране) is a multi-purpose stadium in Berane, Montenegro. Also known as Stadion pod Bogavskim brdom, it is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home ground of FK Berane and FK Radnički Berane, FK Radnički. Also it serves as home ground of Athletic Club Lim. History Stadium was built in 1981 for purposes of hosting Inter-municipalities Youth Sports Games also known as the MOSI Games (Montenegrin language, Montenegrinn: Međuopštinske omladinske sportske igre/Међународне омладинске спортске игре). Berane
Berane ( cyrl, Беране) is one of the largest towns of northeastern Montenegro and a former administrative centre of the Ivangrad District. The town is located on the Lim river. From 1949 to 1992, it was named Ivangrad ( cyrl, Иванград) in honour to people's hero Ivan Milutinović. The town has a population of over 11,000, whereas its municipality area reaches nearly 30,000 people, making it one of the largest centres of Polimlje area. During the medieval period the land of Berane was known as Budimlja (Будимља). It was of great holistic, political and economic importance in the medieval Serbian state and its rulers. Berane Municipality ( Montenegrin and Serbian: Opština Berane / Општина Беране) is one of the municipalities in the northern Montenegro. The center is Berane. FK Berane
Fudbalski klub Berane (Cyrillic: Фудбалски клуб Беране) is a Montenegrin football club based in Berane. Established at 1920, the club plays in the Second League of Montenegro. History FK Berane was founded in 1920, as one of the first football clubs in Northern Montenegro and Sandžak region. In the period before World War II, they were the most successful football team from the north. During the 1920s, as other neighbouring clubs mostly played friendlies, FK Berane participated in official competitions of Montenegro. FK Radnički is a football club from Berane, Montenegro. The club was founded in 2012. History Football club Radnički was founded at 2012 as a third team in the city, after FK Berane and FK Napredak. After only two seasons, FK Radnički won the trophy in the Third League - North, and after the playoffs against FK Iskra and OFK Federal, they gained historical promotion to the 2014–15 Montenegrin Second League. Montenegrin ( ; cnr, label=none, / ) is a normative variety of the Serbo-Croatian language mainly used by Montenegrins and is the official language of Montenegro. Montenegrin is based on the most widespread dialect of Serbo-Croatian, Shtokavian, more specifically on Eastern Herzegovinian, which is also the basis of Standard Croatian, Serbian, and Bosnian. Association Football Pitch
A football pitch (also known as soccer field) is the playing surface for the game of association football. Its dimensions and markings are defined by Law 1 of the Laws of the Game, "The Field of Play". The pitch is typically made of natural turf or artificial turf, although amateur and recreational teams often play on dirt fields. Artificial surfaces are allowed only to be green in colour. All line markings on the pitch form part of the area which they define. For example, a ball on or above the touchline is still on the field of play, and a foul committed over the line bounding the penalty area results in a penalty.
