The Workers' Left Front – Unity ( es, Frente de Izquierda y de los Trabajadores – Unidad, FIT-U) is an alliance of initially three Trotskyist parties in Argentina formed to fight a number of elections in 2011, announced at a press conference in April that year. They are the Workers' Party (PO), the Socialist Workers' Party (PTS), and Socialist Left (IS). In 2019, the Workers' Socialist Movement (MST) joined the alliance. These parties had stood separately at the Argentine elections of 2007 and 2009, the PO on its own, and the PTS and IS in an alliance with the Movement for Socialism (MAS). Guillermo Kane
Guillermo Kane (born 12 October 1981) is an Argentine activist in the Workers' Party (Argentina), Workers' Party. He studied at the University of Buenos Aires, and now teaches history there. From July 2015 to December 2016 he was a deputy in the legislature of Buenos Aires Province, as part of the rotation of seats by the Workers' Left Front. He was a candidate in the 2017 Argentine provincial elections. He became a deputy in Buenos Aires province again in December 2021.
