Cassie Newman is a fictional character ''The Young and the Restless'', an American soap opera on the CBS network. Portrayed by Camryn Grimes, the character was introduced on March 19, 1997, by William J. Bell as the biological daughter of Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) whom she had given up for adoption.
