The Governor of Lviv Oblast is the head of executive branch for the Lviv Oblast. The office of Governor is an appointed position, with officeholders being appointed by the President of Ukraine, on recommendation from the Prime Minister of Ukraine. Maksym Zinoviyovych Kozytskyy ( uk, Максим Зіновійович Козицький, born on 19 February 1981) is a Ukrainian entrepreneur, politician, and Governor of Lviv Regional State Administration as of 5 February 2020. Between 1998—2004, he studied to become a surgeon at Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University. In September 2007 Kozytskyy occupied different positions in energy companies such as Ukrnaftogazinvest LLC and Precarpathian Energy Company LLC. Iryna Ihorivna Sekh ( uk, Ірина Ігорівна Сех) (born 20 September 1970, in Verbivchyk, Ukraine), is a Ukrainian politician, member of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine's parliament) from 2012 to 2014.
