Government Of President Bagapsh
The Government of President Sergei Bagapsh was the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia from 2005 until 2011. Composition Changes Most of the cabinet members were first appointed after President Bagapsh came to power in 2005. Foreign Minister Sergei Shamba was one of the few Ministers to be re-appointed. The Government of the Republic of Abkhazia governs the partially recognised Republic of Abkhazia. Executive branch The Republic of Abkhazia is headed by the President, a post held since early 2020 by Aslan Bzhania, who is supported by the Vice President (Badr Gunba, inaugurated together with Bzhania). Vakhtang Pipia
Vakhtang Pipia is the current Chairman of the State Committee for State Property and Privatisation of Abkhazia in the Government of President Khajimba, and a former Vice Premier. Early life career Pipia was born on 13 October 1960 in Tkvarcheli. From 1978 until 1983, he studied at the economics faculty of the Tbilisi State University. Between 1983 and 1988, Pipia held various positions in the Tkvarcheli town council and the local branch of the Communist Party. From 1988 until 1990, he attended the higher party school in Baku. In November 1991, he founded the Tkvarcheli branch of the Sukhumi Commercial Bank. During the 1992–1993 with Georgia, he led the rear of the eastern front. Liudmila Khojashvili
Liudmila Khojashvili is a former Justice Minister and a current judge of the Constitutional Court of Abkhazia. Early life Khojashvili was born in 1957. In 1986, she graduated from the Law Faculty of the Turkmen State University. Career Between November 1973 and September 1983, Khojashvili worked as court clerk, first at the Ashgabat regional court and from May 1980 onwards at the Supreme Court of the Turkmen SSR. From January 1983 until March 1987, Khojashvili worked as senior consultant at the Turkmen Justice Ministry. The office of Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia was created on 17 May 1993, during the 1992–1993 war with Georgia. Due to the diplomatic isolation of Abkhazia, which remains widely unrecognised, the role of the foreign minister has been restricted mostly to negotiations over resolving the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict. Leonid Yurivich Dzapshba ( ab, Леонид Иури-иҧа Ӡаҧшьба; born January 1, 1961) is a two-time Minister for Internal Affairs of Abkhazia, a former Presidential candidate and the former head of the Football Federation of Abkhazia. Early life Dzapshba was born on 1 January 1961 in the village of Barmysh, Gudauta District. He attended high school in Bambora and graduated in 1975. The office of Minister for Defence ( ab, атәыла хьчара аминистр, ka, თავდაცვის მინისტრი, russian: министр обороны) has been one of the most important in the breakaway Republic of Abkhazia due to the ongoing conflict with Georgia.
