Daur Kove
Daur Vadimovich Kove ( ab, Даур Вадим-иҧа Ақаҩба, russian: Даур Вадимович Кове; born 15 March 1979) was the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia from 2016 until 2021. Early life Kove was born on 15 March 1979 in Sukhumi. In 2000, he graduated in jurisprudence from the Bashkir State University. Career From 1995 until 2000, Kove was assistant to the Representation of Abkhazia in the Republic of Bashkortostan, and from 2000 until 2009, plenipotentiary representative. In 2005, Kove additionally became head of the International Department of the Foreign Ministry. In 2006, he was appointed Deputy Minister. On 9 September 2010, Kobe was appointed Head of the Cabinet Office under Prime Minister Sergei Shamba, to succeed Zurab Adleiba who had been appointed as Chairman of the State Repatriation Committee. Minister For Foreign Affairs Of Abkhazia
The office of Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia was created on 17 May 1993, during the 1992–1993 war with Georgia. Due to the diplomatic isolation of Abkhazia, which remains widely unrecognised, the role of the foreign minister has been restricted mostly to negotiations over resolving the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict. Empirical data nevertheless show that Abkhazia's Foreign Ministry also enacts (mostly low-level) diplomatic relations, such as the sending of diplomatic notes, with various countries across the world, including Nauru, Vanuatu, Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Syria. It is also active in managing relations with other post-Soviet de facto states such as South Ossetia, Transnistria, or Lugansk People's Republic. Leonid Lakerbaia
Leonid Lakerbaia (, ; born 1 January 1947 in Kutaisi), was the Prime Minister of Abkhazia in the Government of President Ankvab from 27 September 2011 until his resignation on 2 June 2014 following the 2014 Abkhazian political crisis. Lakerbaia is also chairman of the socio-political movement Aitaira (since 2001). Before becoming Prime Minister, Lakerbaia was Vice-Premier and First Vice-Premier in the government of President Bagapsh (since 24 February 2005) and he was Minister for Foreign Affairs from 29 June 1995 until 31 July 1996 in the Government of President Ardzinba. Inal Batuvych Ardzinba ( ab, Инал Арӡынба; ; russian: Инал Батувич Ардзинба; born 26 July 1990) is the current Minister for Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia. According to Yevgeny Yasin, former president of Abkhazia Vladislav Ardzinba is Inal Ardzinba's uncle. Beginning in 2014, Ardzinba worked in the Presidential Administration of Russia, eventually becoming deputy of Vladislav Surkov, then an Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation. Raul Jumkovich Khajimba ( ab, Рауль Џьумка-иҧа Ҳаџьымба, ka, რაულ ჯუმკას-ძე ჰაჯიმბა; born 21 March 1958) is an Abkhazian politician, and served as President of Abkhazia from 25 September 2014 until 12 January 2020. He was also Chairman of the Forum for the National Unity of Abkhazia from 2010 to 2015. Khajimba previously held the offices of Vice President (2005–2009), Prime Minister (2003–2004) and Defence Minister (2002–2003). He unsuccessfully ran for President in 2004, 2009 and 2011.
