Government Madrasah-e-Alia
Govt. Madrasah-e-Alia ( ar, المدرسة العالية الحكومية, bn, সরকারী মাদ্রাসা-ই-আলিয়া) is a government madrasa located in Bakshibazar, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Since its founding the madrasah has been playing a significant role in imparting and spreading Islamic education and ideology that is conservative, methodical, modern and progressive. History Alia Madrasah was established in 1780 by British government and formed Madrasah education Board of Bengal. Madrasah Education was then started formally. Consequently, Madrasah Education was reformed. To materialize this declaration of share-E-Bangla a committee named Moula Box was formed. This committee, along with the advice of establishing a University for Madrasah students, advises in the following way for the entire development of Madrasah Education. Islamic University
The term "Islamic university" ( ar, الجامعة الإسلامية, ''Jami'ah Islamiyah''), sometimes called madrasah jāmiʿah ( ar, مدرسة جامعة), can be used to describe secular educational institutions that were founded by people of Islamic tradition as well as institutions that focus on teaching Islam as a main curriculum. The word "madrasah" can refer to an Islamic educational institution of any level, while the word ''jāmiʿah'' simply means "university." However, there are various institutions which include "Islamic University" in their name while being not necessarily geared towards the teaching of Islam (much like how a Catholic university generally does not teach Catholicism). Kamaluddin Zafree
Kamaluddin Abdullah Zafree ( ar, كمال الدين عبد الله الظفري, bn, কামালুদ্দীন আব্দুল্লাহ জাফরী; born 5 March 1945) is an Islamic scholar from Bangladesh. He is the founder of the non-profit Bangladesh Islami University, currently serving as the chairman of its Board of Trustees, and has established many madrasas and orphanages across the country. Zafree is also a member of the Supreme Council of the Muslim World League and a member of the Central Sharia Board for the Islamic Banks of Bangladesh. Ekushey Padak ( bn, একুশে পদক; lit. "Twentyfirst Award") is the second highest civilian award in Bangladesh, introduced in memory of the martyrs of the Bengali Language Movement of 1952. The award is given to recognize contributions in a number of fields, including culture, education, and economics. The Ministry of Cultural Affairs administers the award. The award consists of an 18 carat gold medal weighing 3 tolas and a certificate of honour. The medal was designed by the artist Nitun Kundu. Motiur Rahman Nizami ( bn, মতিউর রহমান নিজামী, links=no; 31 March 1943 – 11 May 2016) was a politician, former Minister of Bangladesh, Islamic scholar, writer, and the former leader of the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.
