Government Alliance
The Government Alliance ( es, Alianza de Gobierno) is the name given to the Chilean political coalition founded on 6 November 2022 after a meeting called by the President of Chile, President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric, held at the Palace of Cerro Castillo, where the presidents of the political parties, parliamentarians and authorities that are part of the government. The coalition is made up of the member parties of the two coalitions that supported his candidacy and entered his administration: Apruebo Dignidad and Democratic Socialism (Chile), Democratic Socialism. The alliance agreed to have a common and rotating spokesperson, the first spokeswoman for the coalition being the president of the Socialist Party of Chile, Socialist Party, Paulina Vodanovic. Gabriel Boric
Gabriel Boric Font (; born 11 February 1986) is a Chilean left-wing politician who is the 37th and current president of Chile, serving since 11 March 2022. Boric studied in the Faculty of Law at the University of Chile, and was the president of the University of Chile Student Federation from 2011 to 2012. As a student representative, he became one of the leading figures of the 2011–2013 Chilean student protests. Boric was twice elected to the Chamber of Deputies representing the Magallanes and Antarctic district, first as an independent candidate in 2013 and then in 2017 as part of the Broad Front, a left-wing coalition he created with several other parties. He is a founding member of Social Convergence, which was formed in 2018 and is one of the constituent parties of Broad Front.
