Gotzone Mora
Gotzone Mora (b. Bilbao in 1948) is a Spanish social-democratic politician. She was a member of the Socialist Party of the Basque Country–Basque Country Left, Basque Socialist Party (''"Euskadiko Alderdi Sozialista – Euskadiko Ezkerra" / "Partido Socialista de Euskadi – Euskadiko Ezkerra"''/ PSE-EE) till March 2008 when she was expelled from it for advocating support for the People's Party. Since 2008 she has been a member of the People's Party (Spain), People's Party (''"Partido Popular"'' / PP). Of humble origins, she has become knowledgeable on human migration and global social processes. She has been a sociology Reader (academic rank), reader in the University of the Basque Country in Spain. Foro Ermua
The ''Foro Ermua'' ( en, Ermua Forum) was a Spanish civic association, the membership of which was composed of Spanish citizens (most of them living in the Basque Country). It was founded on 13 January 1998; its last president was Mikel Buesa. The organisation states that its formation was brought about by the killing of Miguel Ángel Blanco, a conservative city council member in Ermua in Biscay, by members of the Basque separatist group ETA. (This assassination had taken place on 12 July 1997, several months before the Foro Ermua was founded.) Prior to the Forum's official foundation, Blanco's killing also resulted in a local movement called ''espíritu de Ermua'', or "Ermua spirit", which was a general feeling of solidarity that sprung up amongst many local people after Blanco's kidnapping and death.
