Gorkiye Kilty
Gorkiye Kilty (russian: Горькие Кильты), also known as Gorkiye Kelty (russian: Горькие Келыты) and as Kelty Gorkoye (russian: Келыты Горькое), is a salt lake in Kulundinsky District, Altai Krai, Russian Federation.Google Earth The lake is located close to the western edge of the Krai. The nearest inhabited places are Semyonovka located from the eastern lakeshore, Smirnenkoye from the southwestern side, and Ozyornoye, from the southern end. Kulunda, the district capital, lies to the west. Geography Located in the Kulunda Plain, Gorkiye Kelty has a roughly semicircular shape. It stretches approximately from northwest to southeast. The shores are bound by salt pans in some tracts. Lake Shchekulduk lies to the west, Bolshoye Shklo-Ushkaly to the northwest, Krivaya Puchina to the south, lake Dzhira to the northeast, and Kuchuk to the ENE. Sentinel-2
Sentinel-2 is an Earth observation mission from the Copernicus Programme that systematically acquires optical imagery at high spatial resolution (10 m to 60 m) over land and coastal waters. The mission is currently a constellation with two satellites, Sentinel-2A and Sentinel-2B; a third satellite, Sentinel-2C, is currently undergoing testing in preparation for launch in 2024. The mission supports a broad range of services and applications such as agricultural monitoring, emergencies management, land cover classification or water quality. Sentinel-2 has been developed and is being operated by the European Space Agency, and the satellites were manufactured by a consortium led by Airbus Defence and Space in Friedrichshafen.
