John Gorka
John Gorka (born July 27, 1958) is an American singer-songwriter. In 1991, ''Rolling Stone'' magazine called him "the preeminent male singer-songwriter of what has been dubbed the New Folk Movement." Personal life Gorka was raised in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township, New Jersey, where he attended Colonia High School. He studied philosophy and history at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and graduated from there in 1980. As of 2005, he was residing in the St. Croix Valley area near Saint Paul, Minnesota. Career Gorka formed the Razzy Dazzy Spasm Band with Doug Anderson and Russ Rentler, which would also include guitarist Richard Shindell. Michael "Mickey" Gorka ( he, מיקי גורקה; born November 15, 1972) is an Israeli professional basketball coach and former professional player. Early life and playing career Gorka was born in Haifa, Israel. He played college basketball for University of West Florida's Argonauts, Wallace State Community College and the Spring Hill College's Badgers, alongside Eric Campbell and Tony Younger. Gorka Izagirre Insausti (born 7 October 1987) is a Spanish professional cyclist, who rides for UCI WorldTeam . He is the brother of fellow racing cyclist Ion Izagirre. ''Gorkamorka'' is a tabletop skirmish wargame produced by Games Workshop. It is set on the desert world of Angelis in the Warhammer 40,000 setting, and prominently features Orks. The player takes control of a group of warriors with the objective to gain wealth and experience. The rules are derived from the second edition of Warhammer 40,000, with extra vehicle rules and an extensive campaign system added. In 1998 it received an expansion set, ''Digganob'', which introduced additional playable factions, special characters, and scenarios. In 2008 the rule book and source book for Gorkamorka were released on the Games Workshop website under the "Out of Print Games" section. The expansion set was not released in the same way. Gorka Iraizoz Moreno (born 6 March 1981) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He spent most of his professional career with Athletic Bilbao, appearing in 392 official games. In La Liga he also represented Espanyol and Girona, winning the 2006 Copa del Rey with the first club. FC Viktoryja Marjina Horka is a Belarusian football club based in Marjina Horka, Minsk Oblast. History The team was founded in 1990 as FC Belarus Maryina Gorka and until 1991, they played in the lower levels of the Belarusian SSR league. Gorka Verdugo Markotegui (born 4 November 1978) is a Spanish professional road bicycle racer, who last rode for UCI ProTour team . Born in Etxarri-Aranatz, Navarre, Verdugo has not yet won any races, but made his Giro d'Italia debut in 2005 (86th) and his Tour de France debut in 2006 (75th). Gorka Pintado del Molino (born 24 March 1978) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a striker. Football career Pintado was born in San Sebastián, Gipuzkoa. During his Spanish career he played mostly in the third division, having an unassuming spell in the second level with CD Leganés (no goals scored in nearly two full seasons).
