Gordshem Dona, sometimes written Goshen, Godshen or Donna (born 27 August 1996) is a Vanuatuan footballer who plays as a defender for Vanuatuan club Malampa Revivors and the Vanuatu national team. Club career Donna started his career with the Teouma Academy, the national academy of Vanuatu. He started his career with Yatel and after one season he joined Vanuatuan top outfit Amicale. National team In 2017 Donna was called up for the Vanuatu national football team. The Vanuatu national football team is the national team of Vanuatu and is controlled by the Vanuatu Football Federation. History It was known as the New Hebrides national football team until the New Hebrides became Republic of Vanuatu in 1980. It finished fourth in the OFC Nations Cup in 1973, 2000, and 2002. In the 2004 Oceania Nations Cup, Vanuatu beat New Zealand 4–2, preventing the regional powerhouse from making the final and, consequently, the running for the 2006 World Cup. The Vanuatu national under-20 football team is the national U-20 team of Vanuatu and is controlled by the Vanuatu Football Federation. It was known as the New Hebrides national under-20 football team until 1980, when the New Hebrides gained their independence and renamed their country to Vanuatu.
