Gordon Harris (English Cricketer)
Gordon Andrew Robert Harris (born 11 January 1964) is a former English cricketer. Harris was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm fast-medium. He was born in Tottenham, Middlesex and educated at Merchant Taylors' School and Leicester Polytechnic. Harris made his only first-class appearance for Leicestershire in the 1986 County Championship against Worcestershire. Following this match he appeared in his only List A game for the county against Worcestershire at New Road. He joined Bedfordshire in 1988, making his debut for the county against Lincolnshire in the Minor Counties Championship. He played Minor counties cricket for Bedfordshire in 1988 and 1989, making twelve Minor Counties Championship and three MCCA Knockout Trophy appearances. David Hemp
David Lloyd Hemp (born 8 November 1970) is a former Bermudian cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler, who has played domestic cricket for Glamorgan, Free State, and Warwickshire. David has a younger brother, Tim, who has previously played for Glamorgan's second eleven, and who appeared for Wales Minor Counties in the NatWest Trophy. David Hemp has also played List A and Twenty20 cricket. He is currently Head coach of Pakistan Women Cricket Team. He attended Millfield School. County cricket Hemp first appeared for Glamorgan in 1991, and was part of the Glamorgan side which won the 1993 Sunday League championship. Glamorgan County Cricket Club ( cy, Criced Morgannwg) is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Glamorgan ( cy, Morgannwg). Founded in 1888, Glamorgan held minor status at first and was a prominent member of the early Minor Counties Championship before the First World War. Bowling Average
In cricket, a player's bowling average is the number of runs they have conceded per wicket taken. The lower the bowling average is, the better the bowler is performing. It is one of a number of statistics used to compare bowlers, commonly used alongside the economy rate and the strike rate to judge the overall performance of a bowler. When a bowler has taken only a small number of wickets, their bowling average can be artificially high or low, and unstable, with further wickets taken or runs conceded resulting in large changes to their bowling average. The 1993 NatWest Trophy was the 13th NatWest Trophy. It was an English limited overs county cricket tournament which was held between 22 June and 4 September 1993.
