Gorazd Hiti (born August 12, 1948 in Jesenice, Yugoslavia) Career profile owww.eurohockey.net/ref> is a retired Slovenian professional ice hockey player. Career Club career Hiti began his career with HK Kranjska Gora in the Yugoslav Ice Hockey League in 1963. In 1968, he signed with HK Acroni Jesenice, before moving to HK Olimpija Ljubljana in 1971. He played with HC Bolzano in Italy from 1976-1978. Hiti then retired, before returning to play with Olimpija Ljubljana again in 1983. Hiti ended his career with AS Renon in 1987. International career He represented the Yugoslavia national ice hockey team, and played in 191 matches, scoring 94 goals. Hiti participated in 14 World Championships, and the Winter Olympics in 1972, 1976, and 1984. Coaching career Hiti coached the HK MK Bled junior team, and the Slovenia men's national junior ice hockey team between 1996 and 2004. Hokejski klub Acroni Jesenice ( en, Acroni Jesenice Hockey Club), commonly referred to as HK Acroni Jesenice or simply Jesenice, was a Slovenian ice hockey team from Jesenice that last played in the Austrian Erste Bank Hockey League and the Slovenian Ice Hockey League. They played their home games at the Podmežakla Hall. Throughout its history, the club was regarded as one of the most successful clubs in Slovenian and Yugoslav ice hockey. In September 2012, the club filed for bankruptcy and was dissolved. The Slovenia men's national under 20 ice hockey team is the national under-20 ice hockey team of Slovenia. The team is controlled by the Ice Hockey Federation of Slovenia, a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation. History Slovenia played its first game in 1992 against Estonia during the Pool C qualification tournament of the 1993 IIHF World U20 Championship. Slovenia won the game 4–3 however failed to qualify for the Group C tournament after finishing second in their group and outside of the only next round qualification spot which went to Latvia. During the same tournament Slovenia also achieved their largest win in international participation after they beat Greece 30–1.
