Ishwarlal was a Bollywood Hindi actor, director and producer, active from 1930 to 1966. He was born 9 October 1911 at Waghania, Bombay Presidency, British India as Hariprashad Joshi. He died on 22 January 1969 in Bombay (Mumbai), India aged 57. He acted in 86 films, directed 11 and sang in 14. Shyama (born Khurshid Akhtar; 7 June 1935 – 14 November 2017) was an Indian actress who appeared in Hindi films. She was active between 1945 and 1989. She is best known for her roles in ''Aar Paar'' (1954 film) and ''Barsaat Ki Raat'' (1960 film). Career Born as Khurshid Akhtar in Lahore, Punjab in British India on 7 June 1935 into a Muslim family, Shyama moved to MUmbai from Lahore in the 1940s. As a young girl, she acted in a few films such as Noor Jehan's husband Shaukat Hussain Rizvi's Zeenat (1945 film) and ''Meerabai'' (1947). She worked with Shammi Kapoor in romantic classic Mirza Sahiban (1957). Director Vijay Bhatt gave her the stage name Shyama, by which she is credited in her movies. She had starring roles in Guru Dutt's classic ''Aar Paar'' (1954 film), and later in ''Barsaat Ki Raat'' (1960 film), which was perhaps her best performance. Shahu Modak (25 April 1918 – 11 May 1993) was an Indian actor who acted in many Hindi as well as Marathi movies. Shahu Modak was mostly famous for the mythological characters that he played. He mostly played the roles of Krishna, and Jñāneśvar. Personal life Shahu Modak was born in a Marathi Christian family of Ahmednagar on 25 April 1918. Shahu Modak died on 11 May 1993.
