Mike Goolsby
Michael Richard Goolsby (born September 10, 1982) is a former American football player who played in two games with the St. Louis Rams in 2005. High school Goolsby attended and played high school football at Joliet Catholic Academy in Joliet, Illinois, where he was a four-year letterman as a linebacker and tight end. Goolsby was a three-year varsity starter. During his senior season, in 1999, Goolsby was named a consensus All-American after being named to the Reebok, Parade and USA Today AA teams. In his first three seasons he produced 210 tackles, nine sacks, nine tackles for loss, six forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, three interceptions. In 1999 Joliet Catholic Academy posted a record of 14–0 resulting in an eighth football state championship. While in high school Goolsby was timed at 10.8 in the 100 meters and 23.2 in the 200 meters. Ray Goolsby
Raymond Daniel Goolsby (September 5, 1919 – November 13, 1999) was an American professional baseball player. His career, interrupted by World War II, lasted for only four seasons, but included three games played in Major League Baseball for the Washington Senators. Nicknamed "Ox" and an outfielder by trade, he was listed as tall and ; he threw and batted right-handed. Goolsby was born in Florala, Alabama, and his family moved to Central Florida in 1925 when he turned six. He entered pro ball in 1939 and played three seasons in the Florida State League, then a Class D circuit at the lowest level of Organized Baseball. In 1942, he joined the U.S. military; his obituary states that he served in the United States Navy, but, according to Baseball in Wartime, he served in the United States Army.Bedingfield, Gary

James Anthony Goolsby, known as Tony Goolsby (November 9, 1933 - September 4, 2020), was a businessman in Dallas, Texas, who, from 1993 to 2009, was a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives from District 102 in northeastern Dallas County. In two earlier terms, from 1989 to 1993, he represented District 114, also in Dallas County. Background Goolsby was born in Colbert in Bryan County in southern Oklahoma. He graduated from Longview High School in Longview in East Texas. He was an officer in the United States Army. In 1961, he received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas in Denton, where he was a member of Theta Chi fraternity.
