Good Times (Adam Rickitt Album)
''Good Times'' is the debut and only album by the British actor and pop artist Adam Rickitt, released in 1999. After leaving the soap opera ''Coronation Street'', Rickitt signed a Pounds 100,000 six-album deal with music giants Polydor Records. For his first effort, he contributed to the composition of several songs, something unusual for a pop music artist, more oriented towards teenagers. Three singles were released: The first one "I Breathe Again", the most successful, #5 in the UK charts, and silver certified by BPI, " Everything My Heart Desires" was chosen as the second, it reached #15 in UK charts, "Good Times" was announced as the third single, but instead " The Best Thing" was chosen, it reached #25 in UK. Adam Rickitt
Adam Peter Rickitt (born 29 May 1978) is an English actor, singer and model. He portrayed the role of Nick Tilsley in the ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'' from 1997 to 1999, and again from 2002 to 2004. He later joined the pop group 5th Story, set up for ''The Big Reunion'', before joining the Channel 4 soap ''Hollyoaks'' from 2017 to 2020. Early life Rickitt was born in Crewe, the youngest of four brothers. His father is co-owner of an estate agency. Rickitt was educated at Sedbergh School, a boarding school in Cumbria. Rickitt has spoken publicly about suffering from bulimia in his teenage years and about how male sufferers have largely been neglected. The Northern Echo
''The Northern Echo'' is a regional daily morning newspaper based in the town of Darlington in North East England, serving mainly southern County Durham and northern Yorkshire. The paper covers national as well as regional news. In 2007, its then-editor claimed that it was one of the most famous provincial newspapers in the United Kingdom. Its first edition was published on 1 January 1870. Its second editor was W. T. Stead, the early pioneer of British investigative journalism, who earned the paper accolades from the leading Liberals of the day, seeing it applauded as "the best paper in Europe." New Straits Times
The ''New Straits Times'' is an English-language newspaper published in Malaysia. It is Malaysia's oldest newspaper still in print (though not the first), having been founded as ''The Straits Times'' on 15 July 1845. It was relaunched as the ''New Straits Times'' on 13 August 1974. The paper served as Malaysia's only broadsheet format English-language newspaper. However, following the example of British newspapers ''The Times'' and ''The Independent'', a tabloid version first rolled off the presses on 1 September 2004 and since 18 April 2005, the newspaper has been published only in tabloid size, ending a 160-year-old tradition of broadsheet publication. The ''Sunday Mirror'' is the Sunday sister paper of the ''Daily Mirror''. It began life in 1915 as the ''Sunday Pictorial'' and was renamed the ''Sunday Mirror'' in 1963. In 2016 it had an average weekly circulation of 620,861, dropping markedly to 505,508 the following year.
