Good Angels Košice, since 2018 playing as Young Angels Košice is a women's basketball team based in Košice that plays in Slovakia's domestic league and FIBA Europe’s EuroLeague Women. The team bears the name of a non-profit charitable organization Dobrý anjel (translated as ''Good Angel''). In the 2012-2013 season they reach the final four of the Euroleague for women. Slovak Women's Basketball Extraliga (currently through sponsorship also Niké Women's Extraliga) is a tournament composed of Slovak women's basketball teams. The first draw took place in 1993. Ashley Shields (born June 15, 1985) is an American professional women's basketball player, most recently with the Detroit Shock of the WNBA. Shields, who attended Southwest Tennessee Community College, became the first WNBA player drafted out of a community college. The Houston Comets took her with the eighth pick in the 2007 WNBA draft. Charde Lakishia Houston (born April 10, 1986) is a professional basketball player in the WNBA, last played for the New York Liberty. Born in Oceanside, California, Houston played high school basketball at San Diego High from 2000 to 2004, where she set the California state scoring record of 3,837 points. She played for Slovakia at EuroBasket Women 2011, where she was her nation's top scorer.
