The Huanghai Challenger (挑战者SUV) or Shuguang Challenger is a Mid-size car, mid-size Sport utility vehicle, SUV manufactured by Huanghai Auto of SG Automotive (曙光汽车) from 2009 to 2012. Huanghai Challenger, Huanghai Navigator, Huanghai Dawn, and Huanghai Falcon The Huanghai Challenger was sold with the Huanghai Navigator, Huanghai Dawn, and Huanghai Falcon names depending on the region and year of the model. Different codes were given to the different models, but the specifications and styling remains largely the same. Prices of the Huanghai Challenger ranges from 69,800 to 81,800 yuan. SG Automotive Group Co Ltd (officially Liaoning Shuguang Automotive Group, Ltd) is a Chinese vehicle and component manufacturer headquartered in Dandong, Liaoning province. The company makes buses, light trucks, semi-trailer trucks, SUVs and automotive components. Auto parts made by SG are used by other Chinese car makers including Brilliance Auto, Chery, and JAC Motors. Light trucks and buses are sold under the ''Huanghai'' (黄海, lit. Gonow (officially Zhejiang Gonow Auto Co., Ltd.) () is a Chinese manufacturer of automobiles, commercial vehicles and SUV's headquartered in Taizhou, Zhejiang and a subsidiary of GAC Group. It markets its products under the brand name ''GAC Gonow'' in China and as ''Gonow'' in other markets. History The company was founded on 27 September 2003 with headquarters in Taizhou, Zhejiang. The Yellow Sea is a marginal sea of the Western Pacific Ocean located between mainland China and the Korean Peninsula, and can be considered the northwestern part of the East China Sea. It is one of four seas named after common colour terms (the others being the Black Sea, the Red Sea and the White Sea), and its name is descriptive of the golden-yellow colour of the silt-laden water discharged from major rivers.
