Gonna Make It () is a Mediacorp Channel 8 romance drama that was broadcast from 30 September 2013 to 25 October 2013 and consist of 20 episodes. It stars Julie Tan, Bryan Wong, Xu Bin, Edwin Goh and Ya Hui as the casts of the series. The show aired at 9pm on weekdays and had a repeat telecast at 8am the following day. Synopsis Su Xiao Xiao (Julie Tan) was born in a single-parent family. After giving birth to her at 18 years old, her mother (May Phua) abandoned her in the care of her maternal grandparents (Jin Yinji, Zhang Wei). She never knew who her father was. Her grandparents love her very much, yet they do not know how to discipline her. She has never liked studying, but she has a strange interest in hair-cutting. Julie Tan
Julie Tan (born 22 September 1992 in Penang, Malaysia) is a Singaporean actress. She was the female lead in ''That Girl in Pinafore''. Early life Julie Tan was born in Malaysia. She received her education in Singapore and studied Drama at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Career In 2008, she debuted in the telemovie ''The Promise'' as a girl with intellectual disability. Lin Meijiao () is a Singaporean actress. Life and career Lin was educated at Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary School. The Star Awards for Best Actor is an award presented annually at the Star Awards, a ceremony that was established in 1994. The category was introduced in 1995, at the 2nd Star Awards ceremony; Li Nanxing received the award for his role in ''Wounded Tracks'' and it is given in honour of a Mediacorp actor who has delivered an outstanding performance in a leading role. The category was introduced in 2010, at the 16th Star Awards ceremony; Nat Ho received the award for his role in ''The Dream Catchers'' and it is given in honour of an actor (not necessary to be contracted under Mediacorp) who portrayed a drama series or variety character that is deemed the most popular among the television audience. Prior to 2012, the nominees were determined by a team of judges employed by Mediacorp. The rule was removed in 2012 to allow the public to determine the nominees entirely via online voting. Star Awards 20 (also SA20, Chinese: 红星大奖 20) was a double television award ceremony which was held in Singapore. It is part of the annual Star Awards organised by MediaCorp for the two free-to-air channels, MediaCorp Channels 8 and U. The twentieth installment of ''Star Awards'' was broadcast live on Channel 8, on 20 and 27 April 2014. Astro Shuang Xing () is a 24-hour Mandarin youth entertainment TV channel owned and run by pay TV provider, Astro. The channel provides variety entertainment that target for younger generation. Adam Chen
Adam Chen (born 24 June 1976) is a Singaporean television and film actor. Early life Chen was educated at The Chinese High School and Hwa Chong Junior College. Whilst a civil engineering student at the National University of Singapore he did some modelling and joined ''Route to Glamour'', a talent show organised by SPH MediaWorks.
