''Gone, Gone, Gone'' is an album by the Everly Brothers, originally released in 1964. It was re-released on CD in 2005 on the Collectors' Choice Music label. Three of the tracks ("Radio and TV", "Lonely Island" and "Donna, Donna") date back to 1960 recording sessions, and "Donna, Donna" had already been issued on a previous Everly Brothers album (''A Date with the Everly Brothers''). The remainder, including the title hit, were all recorded at various sessions from January to September 1964. It was the first Everly Brothers album in four years — since 1960's ''A Date with the Everly Brothers'' — to include songs written by Felice Bryant, Felice and Boudleaux Bryant, which had become unavailable after the Everlys parted with manager Wesley Rose. The title track was covered by Robert Plant and Alison Krauss on their 2007 collaboration album ''Raising Sand''. Reverberation (album)
''Reverberation'' is the sixth studio album by the English rock band Echo & the Bunnymen. The album was released amidst a line-up change for the group, due to the departure of vocalist Ian McCulloch and the death of drummer Pete de Freitas. The remaining members, guitarist Will Sergeant and bassist Les Pattinson, were joined by ex-St. Vitus Dance singer Noel Burke, keyboard player Jake Brockman and drummer Damon Reece. The album was produced by former Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick at Ridge Farm Studio in Surrey, England, and had a more pronounced psychedelic sound than the group's previous releases. Following the album's December 1990 release, critical reviews were not favourable; critics noted Burke to be a poor replacement for McCulloch, who they believed was an indispensable aspect of the band. Collins & Harlan
Collins & Harlan, the team of American singers Arthur Collins and Byron G. Harlan, formed a popular comic duo between 1903 and 1926. They sang ragtime standards as well as what were known as "coon songs" – music sung by white performers in a black dialect. Their material also employed many other stereotypes of the time including Irishmen and farmers. Rival recording artist Billy Murray nicknamed them "The Half-Ton Duo" as both men were rather overweight. Collins and Harlan produced many number one hits with recordings of minstrel songs such as "My Gal Irene", "I Know Dat I'll be Happy Til I Die", "Who Do You Love?" and "Down Among the Sugarcane".
