Shekosh is a town in the Somali Region of Ethiopia, part of the Korahe region. Shekosh is bordered on the southeast by Kebri Dahar, on the west by the Fiq Zone, and on the north by the Degehabur Zone. The major town in Shekosh is Shekosh and other villages Gomaar, Biyoley, Wijiwaji, Raadooyo, Gaaladiid and Gariegoan these are part of shekosh district. The only perennial river in Shekosh is the Fafen with large valley good for farming. Construction of a 106-kilometer asphalt road between the town of Shekosh and Degehabur was started by March 2009, now is in use. Central Statistical Agency (Ethiopia)
The Central Statistical Agency (CSA; Amharic: ማዕከላዊ ስታቲስቲክስ ኤጀንሲ) is an agency of the government of Ethiopia designated to provide all surveys and censuses for that country used to monitor economic and social growth, as well as to act as an official training center in that field. It is part of the Ethiopian Ministry of Finance and Economic Development. The Director General of the CSA is Samia Zekaria. Before 9 March 1989 the CSA was known as the Central Statistical Office (CSO). The CSA has 25 branch offices. Besides the capital city of Addis Ababa, the cities and towns with offices are: Ambo, Arba Minch, chiro, Asayita, Assosa, Awasa, Bahir Dar, Debre Berhan, Dessie, Dire Dawa, Gambela, Goba, Gondar, Harar, Hosaena, Inda Selassie, Jijiga, Jimma, Mek'ele, Mizan Teferi, Adama, Negele Borana, Nekemte, and Sodo. Ethiopian News Agency
The Ethiopian News Agency ( am, የኢትዮጵያ ዜና አገልግሎት ''Ye-Ityopya Zéna Agelgelot'' (IZA) or ENA) is the official news agency of the Government of Ethiopia. It is the oldest news organization in Ethiopia. IZA's inception dates back to 1942, when a news distribution service was opened as part of the Press Department, which was within the Press and Information Bureau. In 1943 the service became called "Agence Direction" or "Agence Direcsione", and was under the Ministry of Pen (Tsehafi Tae'zaz, in Amharic). It can be argued that it was the first national wire service in Africa, as no other African country had an indigenous service of the kind, due to colonialism, wherein social, political and economic institutions were established by, and made to serve, the interests of the colonial powers. Degehabur
Degehabur ( so, Dhagaxbuur, Amharic: ደገሕ ቡር) is a town in the Somali Region of Ethiopia. It is located in the Degehabur Zone of the Somali Region on the Jerer River, Degahbur is traditionally the seat of the Dalalguuleed by subclan of isak ,ogaden it sits at 1044 meters above sea level. The town is the administrative center of Degehabur woreda. Fafen River
Fafen River is a river of eastern Ethiopia.
