Goldsworthy Productions was a short lived Australian film production company established by actor Reg Goldsworthy. Head of production was TV producer Warwick Freeman. They made three films directed by American Eddie Davis using American actors and Australian support cast, crew and finance. Reg Goldsworthy
Reginald Goldsworthy (1919–1981) was an Australian actor, writer and producer of radio and film. In the late 60s he established Goldsworthy Productions which made a number of movies. He started acting in Adelaide and then moved to Melbourne in the 1940s. He worked there for five years before relocating to Sydney, becoming a popular radio actor. Eddie Davis (born January, 1903 in New York, NY, date of death unknown) was an American film director who worked extensively in television. ''Squeeze a Flower'' is a 1970 Australian comedy film directed by Marc Daniels and starring Walter Chiari. Plot Brother George is the only monk at the Italian Monastery who knows the secret recipe of the popular liqueur that is the sole source of income for the monastery. When he feels their sole distributor, a local wine merchant, is not giving the monastery a fair price, he leaves and moves to Australia. There he works at a vineyard picking grapes and starts making the liqueur in his spare time. George then comes to the attention of the winery owner Alfredo Brazzi and the two agree to a partnership to make the liqueur. The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA), known as ScreenSound Australia from 1999 to 2004, is Australia's audiovisual archive, responsible for developing, preserving, maintaining, promoting and providing access to a national collection of film, television, sound, radio, video games, new media, and related documents and artefacts. The collection ranges from works created in the late nineteenth century when the recorded sound and film industries were in their infancy, to those made in the present day. The NFSA collection first started as the National Historical Film and Speaking Record Library (within the then Commonwealth National Library) in 1935, becoming an independent cultural organisation in 1984.
