The Golden Square Football Netball Club, nicknamed the ''Bulldogs'', is an Australian rules football and netball club based in the Bendigo suburb of Golden Square, Victoria. The club teams currently compete in the Bendigo Football Netball League. The senior football squad has participated in the league since 1935. The Bendigo Football Netball League (previously known as the Sandhurst Football Association, Bendigo and District Football Association, Bendigo Football Association and Bendigo Football League) is an Australian rules football and netball competition based in the Bendigo region of Victoria (Australia), Victoria. Greg Williams (Australian Footballer)
Gregory Donald Williams (born 30 September 1963) is a former Australian rules footballer who represented , the Sydney Swans and in the Australian Football League (AFL) during the 1980s and 1990s. A midfielder, he is a dual Brownlow Medal winner and at his peak was the then highest-paid player in the history of the sport. He was also a very controversial player throughout his career, and was involved in a variety of scandals throughout the 1990s. Playing style Williams made his name as one of the best centres in the history of the game. He was particularly skilful at handpassing, and was the most prolific user of the skill during his era. Bendigo ( ) is a city in Victoria, Australia, located in the Bendigo Valley near the geographical centre of the state and approximately north-west of Melbourne, the state capital. Jack Ginnivan
Jack Ginnivan (born 9 December 2002) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early life and state football Ginnivan started playing Australian rules football at the age of six, following Hawthorn winning the 2008 AFL Grand Final. As a youth, he played for the Newstead Football Club in the Maryborough Castlemaine District Football League and at the age of 11, kicked his 100th goal for the club. Jye Caldwell (born 28 September 2000) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Rick Ladson (born 18 February 1984) is a former Australian Rules Football player who played with the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League. AFL career Ladson was selected at no. 16 in the 2001 AFL Draft from the Bendigo Pioneers and is a defender and outside midfielder. He debuted in Round 6, 2003, against the Carlton Football Club and continued to play six of 22 possible games in 2003. In 2004 he suffered a fractured wrist in a pre-season game and missed the first seven games. In 2006, Ladson played all 22 games with an average of 18 disposals per game and finished ninth in the Best and Fairest.
