Golden Puck (NIHF)
Gullpucken ( translit. ''the Golden puck'') is awarded by the Norwegian Ice Hockey Federation (NIHF) to the best Norwegian ice hockey player each year. The award is subject to consideration which means it is not necessarily awarded every year. Its inception year was 1959, when Leif Solberg of Furuset became its first recipient. Patrick Thoresen was the last who received the award in 2009. The NIHF also awards the Valemon trophy to the best Norwegian female ice hockey player. It has been awarded twice, the last time was in 2003. Mats Zuccarello
Mats André Zuccarello Aasen (born 1 September 1987) is a Norwegian professional ice hockey winger for the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has also played for the New York Rangers and Dallas Stars. Prior to joining the NHL, Zuccarello previously played for Modo Hockey in the Swedish Elite League. In 2010, he won the Guldhjälmen (Golden Helmet), awarded annually to the most valuable player in the Swedish Hockey League. He is regarded as one of the best Norwegian players to play in the NHL. Early life Zuccarello grew up in the suburbs of Løren in Oslo and began playing hockey at age five. Trondheim Black Panthers
The Trondheim Black Panthers, founded 18 June 1986 as Trondheim Ishockeyklubb, is a defunct ice hockey club which was based in Trondheim, Norway. They played their home games in Leangen Ishall and were members of the highest ice hockey league in Norway from 1987 until 2008. During this time, they won the League Championship twice, in 1988–89 and 1991–92, and were twice runners-up in the Norwegian Ice Hockey Championship, in 1989 and 2005. The club folded on 3 March 2008 due to severe financial problems. The existing club Rosenborg then emerged as Trondheim's number one team. Svein Enok Nørstebø
Svein Enok Nørstebø (born February 26, 1972) is a former Norwegian ice hockey player. He was born in Korsvegen, Norway. He was active at professional level from 1988 until 2004. Nørstebø started with ice hockey as a child at the end of the 1970s for Leik in Melhus. Went in 1988 to Trondheim IK (TIK) where he had his debut game against Vålerenga. Nørstebø has played over 700 official matches for both club- and national team. After his debut for TIK in 1988 he has played for Lillehammer IK, Bad Nauheim (Germany) and Linköpings ( Sweden). Storhamar Dragons
Storhamar Hockey, often referred to by its initials SIL, is a Norwegian ice hockey team based in Hamar, Norway. The club currently plays in the Fjordkraft-ligaen, the highest level of Norwegian hockey. The club has won seven regular season titles and seven national championships since its founding on 18 March 1957. Storhamar play their home games in the CC Amfi. The club also includes the largest junior department in Norwegian ice hockey. The team colours are yellow and blue. Pål "Magic" Johnsen (born March 17, 1976 in Hamar) is a retired Norwegian hockey player, who most of his career played for the Storhamar Dragons in the GET-ligaen (top league in Norway). Tore Vikingstad
Tore Vikingstad (born 8 October 1975) is a retired Norwegian professional ice hockey player. Career Club career He played for Viking and Stjernen in Norway, then Färjestad and Leksand in Sweden until 2001. He was selected by the St. Louis Blues in the sixth round, 180th overall, in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. A stint in the DEG Metro Stars from 2001 to 2008 was followed by three seasons in the Hannover Scorpions. Mora IK (or Mora Ishockeyklubb) is a Swedish professional ice hockey club from Mora in northern Dalarna. After failing the 2019 SHL qualifiers, Mora has been relegated for play in the second-tier league, HockeyAllsvenskan.
