Golden Grove Football Club
The Golden Grove Football Club, more commonly known as the Kookaburras, is an Australian Rules Football Club based in the north-eastern suburbs of Adelaide that was formed in 1995. The club is based at Harper's Field, located on One Tree Hill Road in the northern suburbs of Adelaide. Golden Grove's senior teams compete in the Adelaide Footy League Division 2, Division 2 Reserves, Division C2, & C8 competitions. Its women's teams compete in the SAWFL Division 2, & Division 6 Reserves competitions, whilst its junior teams compete in the SANFL Juniors competition. The Adelaide Footy League, formerly known as the South Australian Amateur Football League (SAAFL), is a semi-professional Australian rules football competition based in Adelaide, South Australia. Comprising sixty-seven member clubs playing over one hundred and ten matches per week, the SAAFL is one of Australia's largest Australian rules football associations. Troy Menzel
Troy Menzel (born 22 September 1994) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Carlton Football Club and Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted at pick 11 in the 2012 national draft by Carlton, and was traded to Adelaide after the 2015 season. He is the younger brother of former player Daniel Menzel. Trent Dumont (born 30 June 1995) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for Port Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He is cousins with Duke Dumont. Early life Dumont participated in the Auskick program at Cranbourne. He went on to play with Norwood in the SANFL.
