''Golden Arrow'' (Italian: ''Freccia d'oro'') is a 1935 Italian crime film directed by Piero Ballerini and Corrado D'Errico and starring Luisa Ferida, Guido Barbarisi and Ennio Cerlesi.Mancini p.234 It was screened at the 1935 Venice Film Festival. It was shot at the Cines Studios in Rome. The film's sets were designed by Gastone Medin. Eva Magni (July 28, 1909 – February 11, 2005) was an Italian stage and film actress. She was active between 1926 and the late 1970s. Biography Magni was born in Milan into a family of artists, and made her professional debut in 1926, in the stage company Teatro d'Arte di Roma directed by Luigi Pirandello. She debuted as lead actress two years later, in the company directed by Dario Niccodemi. Cesare Polacco (14 May 1900 – 2 March 1986) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Life and career Born in Venice, Polacco started his career in 1920 in the stage company of Emilio Zago, with whom he played most of the Goldoni's repertoire. In 1928 he moved to Rome, where in addition to theatre he started appearing in films and working as a dubber. Being of Jewish origin, he was temporarily forced to abandon acting because of the 1938 Fascist racial laws, resuming his activities at the end of the war, in 1945.
