Ōtoyo, Kōchi
is a town located in Nagaoka District, Kōchi Prefecture, Japan in the mountainous district of central Shikoku. The and both flow through Ōtoyo. It is the only municipality in Shikoku where over 50% of the population is aged over 65. History On March 31, 1955 the villages of Higashitoyonaga, Nishitoyonaga, Ōsugi, and Tentsubo joined to form the village of Ōtoyo. The name Ōtoyo came from taking the in and the in . Go is an abstract strategy board game for two players in which the aim is to surround more territory than the opponent. The game was invented in China more than 2,500 years ago and is believed to be the oldest board game continuously played to the present day.
