Godha (film)
''Godha'' () is a 2017 Indian Malayalam-language sports comedy film directed by Basil Joseph and written by Rakesh Mantodi, and jointly produced by AVA Productions and E4 Entertainment. The film stars Tovino Thomas, Wamiqa Gabbi, Aju Varghese and Renji Panicker. The plot follows Aanjaneya Das, son of a gatta gusthi coach, who brings home Aditi Singh, a Punjabi wrestler. ''Godha'' was released on 19 May 2017. Plot In Punjab, Aditi Singh is a Punjab University wrestling champion. Her late father had encouraged her to take up wrestling from a young age but her older brother restricts her, sometimes through violent means. Basil Joseph
Basil Joseph (born 28 April 1990) is an Indian film director and actor who works in the Malayalam film industry. He directed three films, ''Kunjiramayanam'' (2015), ''Godha'' (2017) and ''Minnal Murali'' (2021). All three films were a huge success both commercially and critically. Hareesh Peradi
Hareesh Peradi is an Indian actor who predominantly acts in Malayalam and Tamil films. Career He is also a well-known theatre artist in Kerala, having made a mark in stage and also in TV and cinema. Gokulan is an Indian actor who appears in Malayalam films. He made his acting debut through the 2013 Malayalam movie Punyalan Agarbattis by doing the character of Jimbroottan, which became popular. As of 2021, he has so far acted in more than 30 Malayalam movies. Career Gokulan made his acting debut in 2013 with the film Punyalan Agarbattis.
