Gocha Gogrichiani (born 12 August 1964) is a Georgian football coach and former player. He won nine international caps and scored two goals for the Georgia national team, including the fourth goal in a 5–0 rout of Wales in Tbilisi in November 1994, during the qualifiers for Euro 96. At club level, he spent his peak years with Tskhumi Sukhumi, Zhemchuzhina Sochi, and Omonia Nicosia. Personal life His son, also called Gocha Gogrichiani, is a professional footballer as well. The Russian First League (russian: Первая лига, Pervaya liga), formerly called Russian First Division (russian: Первый дивизион) and Russian Football National League (FNL) (russian: Первенство Футбольной Национальной Лиги, Pervenstvo Futbol'noy Natsional'noy Ligi) is the second level of the Russian football league system. Gocha Gochayevich Gogrichiani (russian: Гоча Гочаевич Гогричиани; born 5 May 2000) is a Russian football player who plays for FC Volgar Astrakhan, on loan from FC Baltika Kaliningrad. Club career He made his debut in the Russian Football National League for FC Akron Tolyatti on 27 February 2021 in a game against FC Veles Moscow. He came on a substitute in 85th minute and scored an equalizer in a 1–1 away draw 3 minutes later. On 17 June 2021, he moved to FC Tekstilshchik Ivanovo on loan for the 2021–22 season. FC Zhemchuzhina-Sochi (russian: ФК Жемчужина-Сочи) was a Russian association football club based in Sochi, Krasnodar Krai founded in 1991 and dissolved in 2012. History Zhemchuzhina Sochi was founded in 1991 and named after a hotel which was one of the founders. Zhemchuzhina is Russian for "a pearl". Zhemchuzhina spent one season in the Soviet Second League B (winning zonal tournament), but were entitled to enter Russian First Division in 1992, after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Zhemchuzhina won the tournament in their zone and were promoted to the Russian Top Division. They spent 7 seasons there, from 1993 to 1999. Tskhumi Sukhumi
FC Tskhumi Sokhumi is a Georgian association football club, currently playing in Regionuli Liga East, the fifth tier of the Georgian league system. The club was based in Sokhumi in 1990–1993 and following the War in Abkhazia (1992–1993) was re-founded by an internally displaced person from Abkhazia in Tbilisi. History In 1990, most Georgian clubs including FC Dinamo Tbilisi withdrew from the Soviet League system and established the Georgian national league as the Umaglesi Liga. The club's predecessor, FC Dinamo Sokhumi, refused to join it and continued to play in the Soviet First League for the next two seasons.
