__NOTOC__ Gmina Lubaczów is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Lubaczów County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland, on the border with Ukraine. Its seat is the town of Lubaczów, although the town is not part of the territory of the gmina. The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 9,133 (9,118 in 2013). The largest communities in Gmina Lubaczów are Lisie Jamy and Basznia Dolna. The gmina (Polish: , plural ''gminy'' , from German ''Gemeinde'' meaning ''commune'') is the principal unit of the administrative division of Poland, similar to a municipality. , there were 2,477 gminas throughout the country, encompassing over 43,000 villages. 940 gminas include cities and towns, with 302 among them constituting an independent urban gmina ( pl, gmina miejska) consisting solely of a standalone town or one of the 107 cities, the latter governed by a city mayor (''prezydent miasta'').
