It takes its name from the village of Biskupice, but its seat is the village of Tomaszkowice, which lies approximately south-east of Wieliczka and south-east of the regional capital Kraków. Jawczyce is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Biskupice, within Wieliczka County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately south-east of Trąbki, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Trąbki (the gmina seat), south-east of Wieliczka, and south-east of the regional capital Kraków.
