Glynn Geddie
Glynn Geddie (born 17 June 1990) is a British racing driver from Aberdeen, who last competed in the 2021 British Touring Car Championship for Team HARD. After spending his early racing career in GT cars and winning the 2011 British GT Championship, Geddie made his touring car debut in the 2014 British Touring Car Championship season. Career British GT Championship Geddie made his debut in the British GT Championship in 2010 with Trackspeed, joining David Ashburn for the third round of the season at Knockhill. Geddie returned to the team full-time starting at the Rockingham round, the pair took four victories to secure the championship for Ashburn and second place for Geddie. For 2011 Geddie raced a Ferrari 458 Italia for CRS Racing alongside his dad Jim; the pair started the season in an older Ferrari F430 Scuderia GT3 while they awaited delivery of the new car. Brands Hatch is a motor racing circuit in West Kingsdown, Kent, England, United Kingdom. Originally used as a grasstrack motorcycle circuit on farmland, it hosted 12 runnings of the British Grand Prix between 1964 and 1986 and currently hosts many British and International racing events. The 2011 Avon Tyres British GT season was the 19th season of the British GT Championship. The season began on 25 April at Oulton Park and finished on 8 October at Silverstone, after ten races at seven meetings. On 22 November 2010, the SRO Motorsports Group announced changes to the structure of the 2011 season including a reduced calendar, however still with the inclusion of an overseas event. 2008 Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain
The 2008 Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain was the sixth season of the one-make championship. It consisted of 20 rounds, beginning on 29 March at Brands Hatch and finishing on 21 September at the same venue. The series supported the British Touring Car Championship throughout the season. Tim Harvey claimed his first title, having finished as runner-up to Richard Westbrook in 2004, Damien Faulkner in 2006 and James Sutton in 2007, Michael Caine finished the season as runner-up. Other front runners throughout the season were Sam Hancock, Tim Bridgman and Phil Quaife.
