Elizabeth Gloster
Dame Elizabeth Gloster, Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire, DBE, Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council, PC (born 5 June 1949) is a British lawyer who was a judge of the Court of Appeal of England and Wales and Vice-President of the Civil Division. She was the first female judge of the Commercial Court (England and Wales), Commercial Court. Education Gloster was educated at Roedean School and Girton College, Cambridge. Career Gloster was called to the bar by the Inner Temple in 1971 (and made a bencher in 1992). In 1989, she became a Queen's Counsel. John Gloster is a physiotherapist who works with cricket teams. He was appointed the physiotherapist to the Indian team in February 2005. Early career Gloster graduated from the University of South Australia, and then worked with the Surrey County Cricket Club for three years, from 1998 to 2001. He was appointed the physiotherapist of the Bangladesh cricket team, and worked with them for four years before moving to India. Gloster Van Richardson (July 18, 1942 – February 27, 2020) was a professional American football wide receiver in the National Football League for the Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, and Cleveland Browns. He played college football at Jackson State College. Reverend Gloster Stuart Udy OAM MBE (21 May 1918 – 4 May 2003) was an Australian Uniting Church minister and author. Early life and education Udy was the eldest son of Joseph George Stuart Udy (1885–1959) a Cornish Methodist minister and was one of three brothers who became ministers of religion. James Udy and Richard Udy were his younger brothers. Udy attended Newington College (1933), North Sydney Boys High School and Maitland High School. The Gloster Aircraft Company was a British aircraft manufacturer from 1917 to 1963. Founded as the Gloucestershire Aircraft Company Limited during the First World War, with the aircraft construction activities of H H Martyn & Co Ltd of Cheltenham, England it produced fighters during the war. It was renamed later as foreigners found 'Gloucestershire' difficult to pronounce. It later became part of the Hawker Siddeley group and the Gloster name disappeared in 1963. Gloster designed and built several fighters that equipped the British Royal Air Force (RAF) during the interwar years including the Gladiator, the RAF's last biplane fighter.
