Glory By Honor XVIII was a two-night professional wrestling event produced by Ring of Honor (ROH). It took place on August 20 and 21, 2021 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and aired exclusively on Honor Club. The event was the first ROH show to be held outside the state of Maryland (where ROH has been producing shows since their September return) since Gateway to Honor in St. Louis last February. As the name implied, it was the 18th event in the Glory By Honor chronology. Ring of Honor (ROH) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. The promotion was founded by Rob Feinstein on February 23, 2002, and was operated by Cary Silkin from 2004 until 2011, when the promotion was sold to the Sinclair Broadcast Group. After a deal was struck in March 2022, ROH was officially sold to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) founder, co-owner, president, and CEO Tony Khan two months later. In professional wrestling, a heel (also known as a ''rudo'' in '' lucha libre'') is a wrestler who portrays a villain, "bad guy", or "rulebreaker", and acts as an antagonist to the faces, who are the heroic protagonist or "good guy" characters. Not everything a heel wrestler does must be villainous: heels need only to be booed or jeered by the audience to be effective characters, although most truly successful heels embrace other aspects of their devious personalities, such as cheating to win or using foreign objects. ROH 19th Anniversary was a professional wrestling event produced by American promotion Ring of Honor (ROH) that aired on Friday, March 26 on Pay-per-view. It emanated from the UMBC Event Center in Baltimore, Maryland. It was the 18th event in the ROH Anniversary Show chronology, which celebrates the anniversary of the promotion's founding in 2002. This was also the first Anniversary Show to take place since the 17th in 2019, as the 18th was canceled in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Rhett Titus
Everett Lawrence Titus (born September 15, 1987) is an American professional wrestler working for Ring of Honor (ROH). where he is a former ROH World Television Champion, an overall two-time ROH Tag Team Champion individually, as well as winning the now-defunct Top of the Class Trophy once. Raised in Lacey Township, New Jersey, Titus played prep football at Lacey Township High School, graduating in 2005. A student of the ROH Wrestling Academy, Titus had worked for various independent promotions early in his career before settling in at ROH. Jonathan Gresham (born March 20, 1988) is an American professional wrestler currently signed to Impact Wrestling. He has previously wrestled for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Ring of Honor (ROH), where he is a former ROH World Champion, ROH Pure Champion, and ROH World Tag Team Champion with Jay Lethal. The ROH Pure Championship is a professional wrestling championship contested for in the American professional wrestling promotion Ring of Honor (ROH). The championship is generally contested in professional wrestling matches, in which participants execute scripted finishes rather than contend in direct competition. ''Los Ingobernables'' (Spanish for "The Ungovernables") is a ''lucha libre'' (Mexican professional wrestling) stable, based in the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) promotion. Bandido (born April 17, 1995) is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'' ( masked professional wrestler) who is primarily known for his work in the promotions Lucha Libre Elite (LLE), The Crash Lucha Libre and Dragon Gate (DG).
