''Globus'' is a Croatian language weekly news magazine published in Zagreb, Croatia. History and profile ''Globus'' was started in 1990, having some of its first issues published during the Croatian War of Independence. The founders are Ninoslav Pavic, Denis Kuljiš and Zdravko Jurak. The magazine is based in Zagreb. It is owned by Europapress holding (EPH) media group, one of the largest media publishing companies in the country. Globus is a Santa Monica-based movie trailer music-inspired band consisting of a mix of producers, musicians, and vocalists. The band is led by composer and producer Yoav Goren. History Foundation Globus was founded as a result of increasing demand for Immediate Music to make their work available for a wider audience. The band's live world premiere took place in The Grand Hall, Wembley, London, on 26 July 2006 and their first album, Epicon, was released in August of that same year. He has been involved in over 300 full-length motion pictures and he is most known for his association with The Cannon Group, Inc., an American film production company, which he co-owned with his cousin Menahem Golan. Early life Yoram Globus was born in Tiberias, on the lake of Galilee, Palestine, British mandate of, now Israel, in 1943 to Jewish parents who immigrated from Poland. When he was three years old, his family moved to the northern city of Kiryat Motzkin. His father, Shmuel, built a cinema, which was unique at that time. Odilo Lothar Ludwig Globocnik (21 April 1904 – 31 May 1945) was an Austrian Nazi and a perpetrator of the Holocaust. He was an official of the Nazi Party and later a high-ranking leader of the SS. Globocnik had a leading role in Operation Reinhard, the organized murder of around one and a half million Jews, of mostly Polish origin, during the Holocaust in the Majdanek, Treblinka, Sobibor and Belzec extermination camps. Historian Michael Allen described him as "the vilest individual in the vilest organization ever known". Globocnik took his own life shortly after his capture and detention by British soldiers.
