Glenn Loovens
Glenn Loovens (born 22 September 1983) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Club career Early career Loovens is the son of Hans Loovens, who played for FC Twente. He also has a brother called Ivo. He signed for the Feyenoord youth academy when he was twelve years old, where his teammates included Robin van Persie and Said Boutahar. In 2001, manager Bert van Marwijk promoted him to the first team. Netherlands Loovens came through the Feyenoord youth system and made his debut against PSV Eindhoven in the 2001–02 season in the Feyenoord team that later won the UEFA Cup, alongside Robin van Persie, Civard Sprockel and Ferne Snoyl. In the later seasons, he failed to make good on his promising start as he quickly lost his position in defence to Patrick Paauwe again. Philips Sport Vereniging (; en, Philips Sports Association ), abbreviated as PSV and internationally known as PSV Eindhoven (), is a Dutch sports club from Eindhoven, Netherlands. Roger Johnson (footballer)
Roger Johnson (born 28 April 1983) is an English football manager and retired footballer who is currently manager at Brackley Town. Johnson began his career with Wycombe Wanderers, where he spent six years as a professional. He then joined Welsh side Cardiff City in 2006 for £275,000. He was part of the team that reached the 2008 FA Cup Final and was twice chosen as the club's Player of the Year in his three-year stint with the club. He moved into the Premier League by signing for Birmingham City in 2009 for £5 million, with whom he won the 2011 League Cup. He departed Birmingham in 2011 after their relegation to join Midlands neighbours Wolverhampton Wanderers, with whom he suffered two further consecutive relegations, leading to his exclusion from first team involvement. Darren Purse
Darren John Purse (born 14 February 1977) is an English former professional footballer who now coaches the Cardiff City U23s. A centre-back, he began his career at Leyton Orient, before winning a £100,000 move to Oxford United in July 1996. He continued to impress, and was bought by Birmingham City for £700,000 in February 1998. He played for the "Blues" in the Premier League and the 2001 Football League Cup Final, before switching to West Bromwich Albion for a £750,000 fee in June 2004. After a year with the "Baggies", he was transferred to Championship side Cardiff City for just under £1 million. Appointed as club captain, he was an unused substitute in the 2008 FA Cup Final, where they were defeated by Portsmouth. The Olympic National Sports Complex (also known as Olympic Stadium; uk, Національний спортивний комплекс "Олімпійський", translit=Natsionalnyi sportyvnyi kompleks "Olimpiiskyi") is a multi-use sports and recreation facility in Kyiv, Ukraine, located on the slopes of the city's central Cherepanova Hora (Cherepanov Hill), Pecherskyi District. Patrick Paauwe
Patrick Paauwe (born 27 December 1975) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a defender. Club career Paauwe played as a defender in the past but for Feyenoord Rotterdam as a defensive midfielder role. Other teams he served are PSV Eindhoven, De Graafschap, Fortuna Sittard, Valenciennes FC and VVV Venlo. Paauwe is a one-time winner of the Dutch Eredivisie (in 1999) and the UEFA Cup (in 2002), both with Feyenoord. After two years with Borussia Mönchengladbach, he returned to his native Netherlands and signed for VVV-Venlo. He retired from professional football on 31 January 2011. Ferne Snoyl
Ferne Dean Snoyl (born 8 March 1985) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a left-back. Club career Snoyl started his professional career with Feyenoord, where he was considered a talented player but with disciplinary issues. He made his professional debut on 25 September 2003, starting in a 2–1 home win against FC Kärnten in the UEFA Cup. He was sent on loan to FC Den Bosch in the 2004–05 season to mature. He returned to Feyenoord after the season, but lost out to Pascal Bosschaart to become the starter at left-back. As a result, he was sent on a six-month loan to Scottish club Aberdeen in January 2006. After his loan ended, Snoyl signed a three-year contract with Eredivisie club NEC on 7 July 2006, reuniting him with former Feyenoord assistant coach, Mario Been.
