Glenmoore is an unincorporated community that is located in Chester County, Pennsylvania in the United States. It is part of the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area. History This historic village is located within Wallace Township. It is notable for being the site of the Upattinas School and Resource Center (1971-2014). It was the birthplace of William Moore McClure, a Union Army colonel during the Civil War. Pennsylvania Route 282 (PA 282) is an state highway in Chester County, Pennsylvania. The route, which is signed east-west, runs from PA 82 in West Nantmeal Township southeast to U.S. Route 30 Business (US 30 Bus.) in Downingtown. PA 282 follows Creek Road, a two-lane undivided road that winds along the East Branch Brandywine Creek through rural areas, for most of its length.
