Glenhaven, New South Wales
Glenhaven is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia 32 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district in the local government areas of The Hills Shire and Hornsby Shire, part of the Hills District region. History The area was originally called Sandhurst, which remains Glenhaven's most prominent street. Crego Rd, which runs off Sandhurst is the highest. There was some confusion with mail because of a suburb in Melbourne with the same name. A public meeting was held to have the name changed to reflect its valley location. The upper portion of the valley was known as "The Glen", and the lower portion as "The Haven", hence the choice Glenhaven. Hills District, New South Wales
The Hills District (alternatively the Hills Shire, or The Hills) is a region of Sydney, within the northern part of the Greater Western Sydney region of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Stretching from the M2 Hills Motorway in the south to the Hawkesbury River in the north and Old Windsor Road in the west to Pennant Hills Road in the east, its constituent suburbs are located in the local government areas of The Hills Shire, and parts of Hornsby Shire and City of Parramatta. Geography The Hills District Historical Society restricts its definition to the Hills Shire local government area. Gregory John Page, (born 16 January 1972) is an Australian singer, musician and actor. He is best known as the original lead singer and a founding member of the children's band the Wiggles from 1991 to 2006 and then again in 2012. Page has also recorded several solo albums. Nathan Hindmarsh
Nathan William Hindmarsh (born 7 September 1979) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who captained the Parramatta Eels in the NRL. A New South Wales State of Origin and Australian international representative second-row forward, he played his entire career at the Eels, in 2010 breaking the record for most games with the club. Brian Houston (pastor)
Brian Charles Houston ( ; born 17 February 1954) is a New Zealand-Australian former pastor and evangelist. He was the founder and senior pastor at Hillsong Church, based in Sydney with locations around the world. He was the national president of Australian Christian Churches, the Australian branch of the Assemblies of God, from 1997 to 2009. In January 2022, Houston stepped aside from his roles within the church, after being criminally charged in Australia for allegedly concealing sexual abuse of a child by his father, of which he became aware in the 1990s. Houston professed his innocence and stated that he intends to plead "not guilty" at the trial, scheduled for October 2022. Dieter Kirk Brummer (5 May 1976 – 24 July 2021) was an Australian actor. John M.P. Marks (born 9 December 1952) is a former professional tennis player from Australia. Old Northern Road
The Great North Road is a historic road that was built to link early Sydney, in the Colony of New South Wales, now Australia, with the fertile Hunter Valley to the north. Built by convicts between 1825 and 1836, it traverses over of the rugged terrain that hindered early agricultural expansion.
