Gleeking
Spitting is the act of forcibly ejecting saliva or other substances from the mouth. The act is often done to get rid of unwanted or foul-tasting substances in the mouth, or to get rid of a large buildup of mucus. Spitting of small saliva droplets can also happen unintentionally during talking, especially when articulating ejective and implosive consonants. Gleek (card Game)
Gleek is an English card game for three persons. It is played with a 44-card pack and was popular from the 16th century through the 18th century. History Gleek (sometimes spelled ''Gleeke'' or ''Gleke'') is mentioned in several publications during the first half of the 16th century. The earliest known reference to Gleek has been traced by Sir Michael Dummett to Henry Watson's ''The chirche of the euyll men and women'' (1511). However, the game called Gleek in that era more closely resembled the French game of Glic, the earliest record of which dates to 1454. Early French Glic closely resembled the German game of Poch which did not have a trick-taking round. The best contemporary descriptions of Gleek in popular English form come from three sources: John Cotgrave (1662), Francis Willughby (about 1670), and Charles Cotton (1674). Etymology From the Old French word ''glic'' ("a game of cards"). Rules Three players must be present for this game. Gleek was a fairly elaborate g ...

Gleek (Super Friends)
Gleek is a fictional character appearing in the animated series '' Super Friends'' and its related spin-offs. Gleek is the pet of the alien Wonder Twins, Zan and Jayna. He debuted in ''The All-New Super Friends Hour'', which first aired September 10, 1977. Gleek's vocalizations were provided by Michael Bell who also voiced Zan. Fictional character biography Gleek is a blue alien monkey and the pet of Zan and Jayna, the Wonder Twins. Gleek is often used as comic relief for the series, as the character often gets into mischief. A joke involving Gleek often ends episodes of the ''Super Friends'' in which he appears. Gleek helps the Wonder Twins when they need to travel: Jayna becomes an eagle, Zan becomes water, and Gleek produces a bucket to hold Zan while Jayna carries them both. Gleek also loves Earth bananas, and in one episode, Gleek packed an extra banana suitcase for visiting their home planet, Exxor, because there are no bananas. In one episode, other monkeys of Gleek's ...
