Ferenc Glatz
Ferenc Glatz (born 2 April 1941) is a Hungarian historian and academician. He has served three terms as the president of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Biography Ferenc Glatz was born in Csepel on 2 April 1941. He attended school in Csepel, Szigetszentmiklós and the Fay Secondary School in Ferencváros and graduated from the Faculty of Humanities of the Eötvös Loránd University (1964). From 1967 he worked as a researcher in the Institute of History of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, was appointed Head of Department (1976) and later Director of the Institute (1988). He has been a teacher at the Eötvös Loránd University of Sciences since 1976, is founder of the Department of Historical Museology (1979) and university professor (1990). He has been founding editor-in-chief of the historical political periodical ''História'' since 1979. Kaspar Glatz
Kaspar Glatz (died 1551) was a minor figure in reformation-era Lutheranism. Trained in the early days of the reformation by Martin Luther at Wittenberg, he served as a pastor in the new movement for more than 20 years. The most comprehensive biographical sketch is contained in the late nineteenth-century ''Allgemeine Deutsche Biographie''. Early life Glatz came from Rieden in the Augsburg diocese, but it is unclear precisely which place this indicates. He arrived in Wittenberg in 1523, at which point it is said that he was “not a young man.” (As he lived another 28 years, as he was a potential suitor of the mid-twenties Katharina von Bora, and as he is known to have later married and fathered children, he must not have been extremely old.) Michael Elliot Glatze (; born 1975) was the co-founder of '' Young Gay America'' and a former advocate for gay rights. He subsequently renounced homosexuality and became an evangelical Christian pastor. Biography Glatze was born in Tacoma, Washington.
